The watch has a stem-winding movement, calibre 19.25, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 22,394,404 dates it back to 1908. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which is signed Longines and has details of various trade medals won.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 800 silver and it is in lovely condition. The inner case back has the Longines logo together with the initials EF, the initials of the founder of Longines, Ernest Francillon.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has a few hairline cracks but they are faint. Pin-set blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a retailer's presentation box from A Williamson of Rochdale. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
