The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name and it has the serial number 6,876,268 which dates it back to 1923. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some unevenness.
The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and is hallmarked on all three covers for Birmingham 1928, with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. The front cover is in lovely condition. A couple of small marks to the side but nothing serious. The hinged case back has some unevenness.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The dial is in good condition, just a couple of short scratches on number 5. There are a couple of faint hairlines but they are difficult to see even with a magnifying loupe. The watch has a special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
