A superb antique sterling silver loose powder compact. This splendid guilloche enamel compact mirror is adorned with the most delightful depiction of forget-me-not and Dog-roses, which makes this such a romantic gift. Henry Clifford Davis crafted this vanity in 1954. There isn't any loss of enamel or fading. The interior case contains a good clear mirror, full sets of hallmarks and the original sifter and puff. This compact is suitable for use with loose face powder or as a luxury accessory / collectible. The hinge and catch works perfectly. An immaculate pouch is included. Measures 6.8 cm diameter and weighs 66.7 grams.
