This is a antique square stool dating from the beginning of the 19th Century, which is made in a mixture of woods. It has been newly re-upholstered in traditional materials,

The embroidered cover, which was already on the stool, (I cannot say whether it is original) is in a design of a spray of flowers in a square frame on a blue background and the sides are in furnishing velvet.
