A lovely mahogany Sutherland table. We date this table to the early 20th century.

The main table has a rectangular shape when fully extended with serpentine edges and canted corners. The leaves pull up and the leaves are able to be supported by the underframe legs.

The table features ornately carved uprights with castors on the swing out support legs.

The table has an open height of 27" (69cm), a width of 27" (69cm) and a depth of 30.5" (78cm).

With the leaves closed the table has a top depth of 8" (21cm) and the legs have a depth of 10” (25cm).

This lovely mahogany table remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, there is some minor wear to the surfaces and some edges. The top has minor mellowing with the leaves being slightly darker.

This remains a very stylish and elegant mahogany table. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
