Antique Victorian Brass Oil Paraffin Lamp
A lovely brass oil lamp. We date this lamp to the late 19th century.
The lamp has a decorative brass corinthian pillar base. The glass font has a colour that really goes well with the brass.
The lamp's shade has a lovely etched design on cranberry glass.
The lamp is fitted with a twin burner.
The lamp has a height of 29" (73cm) at highest, the cranberry shade has a diameter of 7” (18cm) and the base is 5.5” (13cm) square.
This lovely lamp remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage with some very minor marks to the brass finish, primarily around the base.
This remains a very stylish and elegant lamp. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
