Antique Victorian Burr Walnut Chest of Drawers
A superb antique Victorian chest of drawers in walnut. This was made in England, it dates from the 1860-1880’s.
It is large and very impressive, the quality is outstanding. There are stunning burr walnut grain patterns throughout, even the plinth base and top edges are beautifully finished with gorgeous burr walnut. The attention to detail in the construction is top notch. It is very useful as well as beautiful, with five generous drawers that all run smoothly. The drawers have wonderful turned handles and are constructed with fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.
This is in excellent condition for its age, having just been fully re-polished to a very high standard, this retains a beautiful colour and patina.
