An incredibly beautiful and rare antique Victorian inlaid rosewood occasional table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1830-1840 period.

It is of exceptional quality, this is constructed from solid and veneered rosewood. There are exquisite satin wood inlays on the top depicting flowers and butterflies, the base is also profusely inlaid with satin wood. The top lifts up to save space and is held in place with the original brass catch mechanism. This stands on a bold baluster base terminating in tripod legs.

We have had this stripped and re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with some minor wear and patina remaining here and there beneath the polish.
