Antique Victorian figured walnut pier cabinet with some nice inlays & in good original condition. It has a ebonised top edge, a gilt metal beading & gilt metal appliqués top & bottom. The inside is lined & it sits on turned feet. These cabinets were used in Victorian times to put various trinkets in, but nowadays they are quite popular as small bookcases. This one dates from around the 1860-80’s period.
