Rare New Zealand antique Victorian lamp table by W H Jewell of Christchurch, New Zealand. This stunning example crafted in native New Zealand woods having an octagonal shaped top crossbanded in Tiger Oak with a moulded edge and supported by an elegantly turned shaped column, raised on four shaped cabriole legs with original turned finial. This renowned cabinet maker expertly crafted his pieces in native New Zealand woods and exhibited in the Christchurch Great Exhibition of 1882.
