Antique Victorian Mahogany Double Wardrobe c1880
Antique Victorian Mahogany Double Wardrobe and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cornice top with deep frieze and with two full length doors. The doors have raised arched panels which are beautifully carved to the top with brass lock escutcheon and working key. Internally there is a central divider and to one side there is a brass hanging rail with one drawer below and to the other side there is a brass hanging rail with two drawers below. The drawers are all mahogany lined with brass handles. It stands on a deep plinth base.
Separates for ease of transporting.
Measures 79" high x 21" deep x internal depth 18" x 55" wide
In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
