Antique Victorian Mahogany Pier Cabinet c1880
Antique Victorian Mahogany Pier Cabinet and dating from around c1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has an ebonised moulded edge to the top with a wide satinwood strung frieze below. To the front is a single glazed door set within a mahogany and satinwood strung frame. Internally the cabinet has two shelves and is covered in a satin material. Each side of the cabinet is finely strung with satinwood and it stands on a deep plinth base which has a ebonised canted edge on small bun feet.
Measures 42" high x 12" deep x 30" wide
In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
