An elegant antique Victorian x-framed stool in mahogany dating from circa 1850. Of rectangular form, the drop-in seat has been newly reupholstered. With a cushion moulded seat rail, on x-frame shaped legs with ring turned central cross stretcher. The stool has been recently reupholstered in a brocade fabric. It is solid and sturdy enough to sit on or use as a footstool.

Solid and sturdy. Good colour and patina to the mahogany. Newly reupholstered in a brocade fabric. Wear and marks commensurate with age. An old end to one leg. Lacking finials to ends.
