A beautiful antique Victorian oak specimen chest. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1880-1890 period.

It is of extremely fine quality and is a lovely size, perfect for placing around the home on a cabinet or side table. These were designed for collectors to store small objects or trinkets etc. It is perfect for use as a jewelry box as well.

This is beautifully constructed from solid oak, there is beautiful carving on the door fronts, the interior is nicely fitted out with internal drawers.

We have had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age, with just some minor wear here and there.
