This painted work table dates from the first half of the nineteenth century and is constructed mostly from what we believe to be solid pine. It has a planked top with a single drawer beneath. It is supported on square legs with stretchers in between, although please note that one of the side stretchers is missing. The table has a worn yellow painted finish, which is not original.

Condition: Overall this piece is in usuable condition, but does have some wear consistent with age and use. There is some heavy scuffing, scraping and wear to the woodwork and paintwork as might be expected. It would benefit from either being stripped or rubbed back and repainted. There is a shrinkage crack to the top. As is mentioned above one of the lower side stretchers is missing.
