Antique Victorian Set Six Oak Spindle Back Chairs
Antique Victorian Set of Six Oak and Elm Spindle Back Dining Chairs and dating from around 1880 consisting of four chairs and two elbow chairs. Each chair has a shaped top rail above turned spindle back rests and turned side supports and above rush seats all in very good condition. They stand on ring turned legs on a pad and ball foot joined by turned stretchers. The two carvers are identical but having shaped armrests on turned and block supports.
Each carver chair measures 42" high x seat height 17" x 23" deep x 18" wide
Each chair measure 36" high x seat height 17" x 16" deep x 18" wide
In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
