Antique Victorian Taxidermy BUZZARD With Partridge

A good Antique example from the golden age of Victorian Taxidermy when mounted birds and animals were a popular part of Victorian interior decor.
This is a beautifuly preserved Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo)mounted in a natural setting, about to devour a prey bird, in this case an unfortunate Partrige!
Both birds are clean and well preserved. The case is in good antique condition. At some time the glass has been replaced with a new perspex front (looks like glass).
The taxidermist's label has not survived, however this is clearly a well executed piece in excellent condition for its age.
Not easy to ship due to risk of damage in transit. Collection preferred. Free local delivery. Please contact us to discuss other delivery options.
Satisfaction Guarantee & Returns Policy.
Returns are accepted within 7 days. A full refund will be given provided the item is received in the same condition as when sold. Buyer is responsible for return postage/shipping costs, appropriate packaging and insurance.
