A magnificent antique Victorian balloon back chair in walnut. A good quality example with beautiful deeply carved cresting rail and carved cross rail, stuff over seat and shaped cabriole legs with carved feet. The seats have been newly recovered in a cream brocade fabric over the existing upholstery which is in fair condition. In good condition, good patina, very solid and sturdy, would make a wonderful desk chair or dressing table chair. Dating from circa 1870.

Good condition. Solid frame. Lovely age and patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered over existing upholstery which is sound.
