A top quality antique Victorian solid walnut desk by renowned cabinet makers Howard & Sons. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1870-1890 period.

It is extremely well made and is a useful, fairly petite size. There are lovely original brass handles, this sits on two pedestals with plinth bases and rolls on casters. The inset leather top is a beautiful faded black, and is tooled around the edges. The back of this is also nicely finished, so it can be used as a free standing item.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The Howard & Sons stamp can be seen inside the top drawer.
