Antique Walnut Writing Table / Desk
A beautifully made and very attractive antique walnut writing table / desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1920’s.
The quality is superb, this has a beautiful design and is a very useful item. It has a serpentine front with three drawers, it sits on lovely cabriole legs. The top is cross banded, this has beautiful walnut grain patterns throughout. The back is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.
We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with just some minor wear here and there remaining beneath the polish.
Besides being suitable for use as a desk, this piece could equally be used as a console side table.
Width – 43 inches , 109 cm
Depth – 20 inches , 51 cm
Height – 30 inches , 76 cm
