This is an antique Wellington chest of drawers. An English, oak specimen cabinet, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order - aged repairs to drawer fronts visible
Select oak stocks present fine grain interest throughout
Rich caramel hues beam beneath a quality wax polish finish

Arrangement of five graduated drawers, dressed with pairs of small pulls
Pair of hinged brackets hold the drawers closed, adding security
Dressed with an inset, working lock to the right —key present
Left-hand bracket replete with sliding clasp mechanism
