This is an antique wool winder stand. An English, walnut adjustable yarn swift, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.
Fascinating early Victorian winder, with a wonderful display appeal
Exceptional quality that would have graced the hobby room of a fine country home
Presents a desirable aged patina and in good original order
Quality walnut stocks shows rich caramel hues and fine grain interest
Adjustable reel height, with a removable axial peg and set within the supports
