A very desirable late Victorian upholstered armchair with superb shape presented in excellent condition.
With a very pleasing lower frame, deep seat shape and generous 46cm (18.1") seat height this quality armchair is a lovely example.
Having been recently professionally re-upholstered the quality textile is in superb condition throughout and the armchair is ready for the home.
Riding upon splayed toe carved front legs, with fully hand-carved under-frieze and turned side stretchers, the chair offers much in the way of style & comfort. With supportive seating, wing form and comfortable arms it makes the perfect place to relax, read and enjoy.
The chair would work beautifully in any location, residential or commercial, and would make a fine feature piece or is suitable for daily use.
