Danish two-tier serving trolley (or stylish side table) made from teak dating from the 1960s. After the style by Arne Hovmand-Olsen, the frame takes the form of an elongated and inverted "U" shape, terminating in removable wheels, and braced by end stretchers supporting the under-tier. The serving surface (top tier) has lipped edges and is raised on metal supports giving a very pleasing, light and floating appearance. A very useful and attractive piece of mid-20th century Scandinavian design in very good condition.
