Art Deco 18ct gold and emerald brooch, c 1920-30.
Classy design of four gold parallel bars with two sparkling emeralds mounted on the ends of the top and bottom bar. Comes with sturdy pin and secure C-clasp.
Marked on the reverse, on one of the supporting bars: 750 and WJ (for 18ct gold and maker’s mark)
Complete with antique velvet and satin lined presentation case, the gold brooch is elegant and wearable.
Emerald (the birthstone for May) is known as a symbol of truth and love.
Both brooch and case in great antique condition.
The brooch is 4.6cm long and weights 3.7g.
