Art Deco 18ct Gold Platinum Emerald & Diamond Ring

This is a fabulous antique period Art Deco emerald & diamond engagement ring in 18ct gold and platinum.
It has a fantastic geometric design with a rectangular emerald surrounded by round and rose cut diamonds in an octagonal head, finished with trapezoid shoulders set with a diamond each.
This stunning ring oozes Art Deco!
The head measures 8.5 x 8.5 mm and the emerald is 3.5 x 4.5 mm big.
There are 10 round and 4 rose cut diamonds in total, giving the ring a lovely sparkle.
On seeing the stamp ‘S.H & Co’ inside the shank, I’ve tried to track down the maker of this lovely ring.
I’ve found the initials in solid silver items made in Sheffield in the 1930’s by a maker called “Sidney Hall & Co”. So there is a chance that the ring was made by them, but I can’t verify this of course.
Still, I thought it’s worth mentioning since I’ve put quite a bit of time and effort into researching it.
There are minor signs of wear to the emerald commensurate with age, but overall the ring is in very good condition.
It’s a size ‘N’ and weighs 2.6 grams.
UK only shipping on this item, which is FREE of charge.
