The bookcase An Art Deco / Modernist walnut bookcase cabinet probably designed by J.P. Hulley for P.E. Gane of Bristol (labelled) c.1935. Marcel Bruer was P.E. Gane's design consultant 1935 -37 and his Modernist / Bauhaus influences are clearly visible here. The bookcase has an asymmetric arrangement of shelves, cabinets and a single drawer. (Note P.E. Gane made a number of pieces that were retailed by Heal's)

Condition Offered in very good refinished condition.

Dimensions 54" wide and 30" tall. Viewings at our Norfolk Warehouse & Showroom by appointment.
