Art Deco Bakelite 8 day Clock By Jaz
For your consideration is this 1930's Art Deco bakelite antique clock by Jaz a French clock company founded in 1919.
The case is of a wonderful mottled, chestnut brown Bakelite, styled in stepped form. The strong, bold lines set off the superb Bakelite colour. This is further enhanced with the nickel plated "slabs". The cream dial, stylised numerals and classic formed hands are in excellent condition.
Inside beats the 8 day movement. This is wound and set from the rear via the fixed key. The clock is in full working order, running with an almost "Silent tic". Condition of the case is very good and without damage but there is some chrome loss by way of tarnishing to the top and one side. Nothing unsightly but mentioned here for accuracy.
Full money back guarantee (items must be returned within 14 days in same condition as when sent) if you are not fully satisfied with your purchases from us. You will only have to pay the initial cost of delivery and return.
Dimensions
Height = 13 cm (5")
Width = 19 cm (8")
