Such a charming piece from the 1930s with makers label, Harrods London SW1. We love the look of this 2 drawer chest - so attractive, with a little whiff of Art Deco and of super quality. The legs give it some real class and style. The walnut figuring to the top and drawers is highly decorative and well-judged and the little brass knobs a delight. In all, a super piece from Harrods. We have a matching 3 drawer chest of similar proportions if you desire a set.

Workshop report – This one is aging gracefully so expect age marks and fading in places but nothing nasty. The 2 drawers are running as they should and the Chest has been carefully cleaned in our workshop and is ready to place. We would assume that the chest once had a mirror attached but no marks except to the rear.

A really super piece of 1930s antique furniture which could fit into a number of spaces in any period of home.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
