This is a delightful and vibrant little art deco powder compact. I am describing it as white metal but it may be silver. The interior holds a polished chrome mirror and a grinding mechanism that is marked 'patent applied for'. The metal on the top has been cut away to reveal a striking design made that appears to be made from black and orange celluloid. There is some wear that is consistent with age but it's condition is remarkable. The base is stamped with 'RACHEL' which was a shade of coloured powder. It is approximately 5cm in diameter and 1cm deep. Please contact us with any queries. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or paypal.
