This really is a delightful piece and one we've not come across before. This is a 1930's Art Deco Novelty Pierrot Ceramic German Trinket Box, part of the half doll family. Features four child Pierrots sat on one end of a tree log with four small birds at the other end. The detailing is beautiful and a rare design. 8298 is impressed underneath. This piece would make an ideal addition to any collection with multiple applications aside from its original intent.
