A handsome vintage Art Deco oak headboard for a double bed dating from circa 1920s-30s. In a richly figured quarter sawn oak veneer, the stepped top with a central triangle decoration flanked by chip carved top rails. Originally part of a bedstead. Comes with brass fasteners to fix it to the wall.

Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy with good colour. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Holes to bottom of legs where original brackets would have been with small sections cut out of the legs.
