Art Deco Sideboard
A sideboard made by Eric Gomme in 1936. This is a medium oak piece in classic Gome style. It has a signature lable on the back. The 2 cupboard doors have fluted pannels. On the inside of a cupboard door is a chrome fitting which holds 3 bottles. At the top are 2 draws cunningly discuised as 4. The left hand draw contains a cutlery tray. It has not been restored and polished but other than that it is in very good condition. Eric Gome's company was later to be known as G Plan after WW2.
