This beautiful silver box is exquisitely decorated to the top in a wonderful sunburst guilloche enamel which is in pristine condition. Superb colouring in a stunning peppermint green - A good weight, it is exceptionally well made and fully hallmarked for renowned silversmith Adie Brothers of Birmingham and is assayed 1931. The hinged lid sits perfectly, both the lid and base bear appropriate hallmarks, with a fitted leather insert to the bottom of the base. A quality piece in fine order, a couple of tiny pings commensurate with age none of which detract. The perfect place to pop those special pieces of antique jewellery or links - absolutely gorgeous!.
