Art Deco Silver Plate Tea Set & Tray, c.1930s /40s

Here we have a wonderfully stylish Art Deco Silver Plated 3 Piece Tea Set and Tray. The tea set comprises of a teapot, a milk jug and a sugar bowl.
The style is very distinctively Deco with the stepped lid on the teapot and its odeon design finial, the short spouts on both the teapot and the milk jug and the overall clean lines throughout.
Condition is very good with no dings or dents and no plate loss of any significance, just the surperficial surface wear that has to be expected after frequent use down the years. This set has clearly been well looked after. Please make sure to view all the photographs.
The teapot is 19cm from spout to handle, 12cm across the base and 13cm high to the top of the finial. The milk jug is 11.1cm from lip to handle, 7.4cm across the top rim and 7.7cm high to the top of the handle. The sugar bowl is 16.4cm from handle to handle, 9.7cm across the top rim and 5.3cm high. The tray is flat bottomed and 35.1cm in diameter. The whole set weighs 1.73kg.
The tea set does not have a manufacturers name but the pieces are marked EPNS for Electroplated Nickel Silver (ie silver plate) and the sugar bowl has the registered design number 831580 on the base which dates the design of the set to 1938/39.
Shipping in the UK is £8 by Hermes Tracked & Signed Courier.
