Here we have a very attractive Edwardian Art Nouveau 9ct Gold Pendant with an Amethyst and Seed Pearl drop on a 9ct Gold chain.

The pendant is oval in shape with a pierced design of a flower bud and leaves at the bottom flowing into scrollwork up the sides. The central drop features a round faceted amethyst on a stem with two leaves above decorated with seed pearls. It is a simple but elegant Art Nouveau design that would work well on many different occasions.

The pendant is 2.4cm long and 1.7cm wide. The chain, which is from a later date than the pendant but appropriate to it, is 48cm / 19" long. Chain and pendant together weigh 2.2g.

Condition is very good, with no damage to the pierced work or frame and the stone and pearls are securely in place. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The pendant is marked 9 CT in a small plaque on the reverse and the chain is stamped 375 (which is 9ct gold) on the clasp.
