circa 1904-1905
A stunning portrait vase done at the turn of the century on a base of ivory porcelain and decorated with a woman illuminated by an iconic sunburst aureole over her regal coronet, which houses two delicate inset gres-bijou. The vase was completed with an outstanding diversity of finishes: exquisite hand painting, low relief, gilt and ,Amphora's trademark simulated jewels.

On the underside is impressed with the "Amphora” insignia used by Riessner, Stellmacher & Kesselhis vase is believed to have been designed by Nikolaus Kannhauser with artwork inspired by Klimt and Mucha.
