Art Nouveau Brass and Copper Candlestick, early 1900s.
"Geschutzt" (protected or copyright)stamped onto the base, indicating German or Austrian origin. No maker's mark.
Very stylish candlestick, the base can be used as a trinket tray.

Total height: 18.5cm, base: 16cm x 9.5cm, fits a candle up to 2.5cm.

Great age related patina. Good overall condition with some signs of use and age. This item is available to view at the Red House Antiques Centre in York.
