With It Release In 1897, Otis C. Whites Catalog Offered A Full Line Of "Adjustable Holders For Incandescent Lamps". The Offerings Included Many Varieties Of Ceiling, Wall And Desk Mounted Lamps. Little Did Otis Realize The Impact His Lighting Line Would Have On Future Generations. Originally Intended For Assisting The American Worker At The Turn Of The Century Those Same Lamps Today Are On Display And In Use In Major Retail Stores, Residential Settings, And Widely Embraced By International Culture. This O.C. White Desk / Bench Standard Lamp Has Been Restored In Keeping With Its Rich Iron Color That Creates A True Industrial Feel.
