ARTS & CRAFTS OAK CHIFFONIER c1880-1900.

This is truly wonderful quality Oak Chiffonier from the late Victorian period. It is raised on deep brakcet base that is shaped to the front and solid to the sides. It has two drawers with ash lining and two doors. There is one single shelf to the lower section with a celarette drawer to the lower right hand side. The top has a bevel edge mirror and single shelp and turned gallery back section. It has simple line decoration and high quality brass fittings all round.

The top right drawer is marked with the factory initials and catalogue number "W.B. 2043" we are still researching this piece but from what we can make out so far it could be an early William Birch. The quality of this piece just shouts at you.
