ARTS & CRAFTS OAK GLASGOW SCHOOL CHEST OF DRAWERS c1890-1910

This is an awesome solid oak Arts & Crafts chest of two over two drawers in the Glasgow style. Raised on turned feet with red china castors to the base it has graduated drawers with great handles. The top has the classic exagerated top so prevalent of the Scottish school with the ebony and boxwood chequer inlay which eptiomises the Glasgow school. A great thing with the drawer linings and backing panels also being solid oak.
