ARTS AND CRAFTS OAK OPEN BOOKCASE WITH HEART MOTIF'S.

This is an Arts & Crafts oak open bookcase c1880-1900. It has four fixed shelves and a great design with inverted heart motif's that so epitomise the Arts & Crafts movement at the end of the Victorian period. The top shelf has a simple and elegant canted drop to help emphasise the hearts in the back rail.
