A good Arts and Crafts period patented walnut swivel and sprung reclining desk chair from the workshops of W.Heywood Chair Co., Fitchburg, Massachusetts, U.S.A. The rectangular shaped back having a leather panel with conforming upholstered seat and all with brass studded detail. The height adjustable base having a sprung reclining action supported on 4 out swept legs. This good walnut desk chair retains it's original finish and has been re-upholstered in top quality leather and the whole is in very good useable condition. This chair was clearly thought a Lot of when new as it has 3 different labels (see photos).Dimensions:- Max.Height…40.25’’/ 102cm. Width…23.25’’/ 59cm. Max.Depth…25’’/ 63.5cm.
