Edwardian era Arts & Crafts walnut and tile top side table.1905. Maker unknown but in the manner of Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple. Original bottle green and ochre coloured tiles arranged in a chequerboard pattern set within a walnut frame with moulded edge. Raised on slim legs with bobbin turnings and a pad foot, set at a flared angle for stability and joined with a useful stretcher shelf, all in solid walnut. With a repair where the shelf meets one leg and a small chip to one foot. Otherwise very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Dimensions: width 22″, depth 16″, height 27″.
