Arts and Crafts Liberty Oak Sedley Bookcase
An Arts and Crafts Oak Bookcase, of pegged construction, with trefoil cut outs and Moorish arches to the end supports. Although unmarked, this style of bookcase was retailed by Liberty and Co and illustrated in their 1907 Catalogue as a 4 shelf variant. It was known as ~The Sedley~.
The bookcase is strong and sturdy with good solid shelves to support the books, pegged ends to the shelves and back strips that are screwed into the end supports to give extra stability.

Height 98cm (38 1/2 inches) -
Width 60cm (23 1/2 inches) overall, 51cm (20 inches) internal -
Shelf Depth 18.5cm (7 1/4 inches) -
It is presented in good condition, commensurate with age, and is extremely solid and practical. And, I think, attractive too with its pierced trefoils to the sides and pegged shelves.
