Arts and Crafts stool by leading craftsman Arthur Simpson and the Handicrafts of Kendal. Arthur Simpson made antique furniture not only of his design but of CFA Voysey . Items of is work can be found in museums such as Blackwell house designed by M.H Baillie -Scott in Windermere. This well crafted oak stool with drop in seat (would benefit from re-covering) measures 21 in high x 18 x 18.5 in . It has the circular Handicrafts label.
