Wonderful curved shaped sides on this delightful “pint” sized oak tallboy. I mean, where would you not want to place it?

Surviving from the early 1930s, English and pleasantly influenced by the Art Deco movement. It’s a very useful piece – we have a two door cupboard to the top with 3 graduated drawers underneath – probably once part of a bedroom set.

Workshop report – The chest has enjoyed a day in the workshop having had a light and careful repolish to enhance the grain and tone of the oak. The handles which are original with age have taken on a pewter look. The drawers are clean and tidy inside oak lined and are running as they should. No nasty starches or cracks etc . A well cared for piece ready to place.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
