A lovely mahogany chest on chest. We date this chest to the late 18th century.

The chest comes in two main sections and sits on four shapely bracket feet, the upper chest has a plinth with a dentil moulding and it has reeded canted edges.

The chest consists of a chest of four graduated drawers over a chest with three graduated drawers. The drawer fronts have central panels veneered with well matched, finely figured mahogany.

The drawers are fitted with brass swan neck handles mounted on circular backplates.

The chest of drawers has a height of 67(170cm), a width of 45.5" (116cm) and a depth of 24.5" (62cm).

This lovely mahogany chest remains in a good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including a couple of old repairs and a little bit of wear to some of the edges.

This remains a very stylish and elegant chest on chest which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
