A nice quality antique ruby & diamond ring made in 15t gold.

The ring is nicely crafted and features a centre ruby with six rose cut diamonds. The ruby has a rich translucent red colour and is set in a star shape. The diamonds are set in diamond shapes and all the stones have small gold bead decoration which adds to the quality. The shoulders display a stepped design which graduates down into the substantial band.

The ring has full hallmarks with makers stamp, gold quality and essay symbol. The date letter is visible but difficult to make out. I would say the ring was made in the early part of the 20th century C1915.

Offered in very clean condition with original stones intact.

A ring box is also provided.
