An Automata Longcase Clock by Thomas Scott of Gainsborough 8 Day movement Light Oak Case, has original lead weights, in perfect working order. made about 1790 was serviced some years ago then the owners never had the antique clock running, was placed in the hallway for decoration only. The weight had never been suspended in fact they never had a winding key for it. Since we purchased it dust has removed from the movement which was nothing really nd all the pivots oiled as necessary. Runs absolutely perfect. The ball and spires on the top of the clock are replacements although they look fine. The ship itself is 'Man'o'War' if you look closely you can see that the gunports are open.
